Service Description
Four creative mornings learning and drawing in our cozy, bright, downtown studio! 4-day Kids Draw Camp runs March 24-27, 2026 Tuesday through Friday, 9am-12noon Ages 7-9 $180. All supplies included. Maximum 10 participants. Learn drawing technique and process with lots of room for creativity and exploration! Perfect for children who have keen drawing interest and focus, and loads of creativity. No previous experience necessary. The perfect mix of real learning and skill building with creative play. Throughout the week we investigate line drawing, shading methods, and adding colour with pastel, watercolour, and coloured pencil. Students learn techniques and vocabulary from an educated teaching artist (me! Jaye!) doing live demos and giving one-on-one suggestions, instruction, problem solving, and cheerleading. We learn about line drawing, negative space, value blocking, hard and soft edges, colour mixing and blending, and more! Each day includes 2 drawing sessions with a mid-morning break where we will either play drawing games at the studio or walk to a local creative business (weather dependent.) Cancellation Policy
Please note that registered classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable barring extenuating circumstances that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Though not guaranteed, students who miss classes due to illness can occasionally be accommodated at another time. We aim for all students to be successful by attending all scheduled classes to the best of their ability, as classes are progressive and projects can take multiple weeks. If a class is cancelled by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances the student will have the option to either request a refund or attend a rescheduled class. Classes are non-transferable once the class series has begun.
