Intermediate Oil Painting - Part II 8 week course runs April 30 - June 18, 2026 Thursday Evenings, 5:30-8:00pm $390, monthly payment plan available. All supplies included. Maximum 10 participants Join this lively group of oil painters as we delve further into portraiture! Course includes review of proportions and bone structure, widening our knowledge of skin tone palettes and light sources, pushing colour and expressive brushwork, and finishing with a larger painting of choice with some more abstracted elements. We will be working within both traditional and contemporary painting styles for research and inspiration and will begin to work from photographs of choice. Optional homework is given each week for those who would like extra study and practice between lessons. This course is designed for painters who have oil painting experience. Cancellation Policy
Please note that registered classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable barring extenuating circumstances that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Though not guaranteed, students who miss classes due to illness can occasionally be accommodated at another time. We aim for all students to be successful by attending all scheduled classes to the best of their ability, as classes are progressive and projects can take multiple weeks. If a class is cancelled by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances the student will have the option to either request a refund or attend a rescheduled class. Classes are non-transferable once the class series has begun.
