Service Description
Monday May 26, 9:00am-12:00noon $40 per child. All materials included. Maximum 10 participants. A terrific mix of learning and messy, self expression! We begin by looking at abstract painting throughout Western art history, then use mark-making tools and colour layering to create expressive abstract paintings, step by step, while learning about composition, texture, value, and colour, finishing with our own hand-drawn stencils to tie it all together. The instructor also takes the students on a mini out-of-studio art exploration to break up the morning.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that registered classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable barring extenuating circumstances that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Though not guaranteed, students who miss classes due to illness can occasionally be accommodated at another time. We aim for all students to be successful by attending all scheduled classes to the best of their ability, as classes are progressive and projects can take multiple weeks. If a class is cancelled by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances the student will have the option to either request a refund or attend a rescheduled class. Classes are non-transferable once the class series has begun.
