Service Description
Create landscapes with a sense of movement, feeling, and play! Thursday Evenings 5:45-8:15pm 10 session course runs September 17th - December 3, 2026 (No class Sept 24th or Oct 22nd) $495, monthly payment option available. All supplies included. Maximum 10 participants. Learn to paint the landscape with feeling, depth, and subjectivity. We will play with colour, loose brushwork, line, and a number of expressive styles while learning about the fundamentals of value, composition, and how to create space in a painting. Along the way we'll be looking at several contemporary approaches to landscape painting, ending with working from photographs to create landscapes that are all your own. Subjects include seascapes, skyscapes, forests, and mountains. This course is for students with painting experience. Cancellation Policy
Please note that registered classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable barring extenuating circumstances that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Though not guaranteed, students who miss classes due to illness can occasionally be accommodated at another time. We aim for all students to be successful by attending all scheduled classes to the best of their ability, as classes are progressive and projects can take multiple weeks. If a class is cancelled by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances the student will have the option to either request a refund or attend a rescheduled class. Classes are non-transferable once the class series has begun.
