Service Description
Registration Closed - See you for summer camps! Wednesdays 3:45-5:15 pm 9 week course runs April 30 - June 25 $275 Supplies included, including individual sketchbook. Maximum 10 students to allow for 1:1 mentorship. No previous experience necessary; interest mandatory! For older students with drawing interest, particularly in realistic drawing. Students explore drawing in pencil, pen, charcoal, and conte, with a mix of colour media and a large range of materials and subjects including animals, still life, faces, landscape, and botanicals. Each lesson teaches techniques and strategies for independent drawing while encouraging artistic instincts and self-expression. Lessons build sequentially from line drawing, to adding tone, to basic colour theory, with art theory, terminology, and art historical references built in along the way! All students use high-quality art materials so they have the potential to produce the same quality of work as the instructor. Photos are actual student work from this course.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that registered classes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable barring extenuating circumstances that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Though not guaranteed, students who miss classes due to illness can occasionally be accommodated at another time. We aim for all students to be successful by attending all scheduled classes to the best of their ability, as classes are progressive and projects can take multiple weeks. If a class is cancelled by the studio due to unforeseen circumstances the student will have the option to either request a refund or attend a rescheduled class. Classes are non-transferable once the class series has begun.
